about usThe University Student Teachers’ Association, also known as USTA is your (B.Ed.) official student representative body on campus. The executive team is made up of 8 students studying at the Faculty of Education and an alumni representative. As a student organisation, administered solely by B.Ed (Hons.) Students, we aim to be the liaison between you fellow students, the Faculty, the University Administration and the public in general. USTA encourages students to contribute towards the democratisation of education in Malta by participation in discussions and debates on issues related to how education is catered for in our country. Our organisation also pressures authorities and relevant parties into assuring a quality education for all through direct debate, reaction papers and seminars with the concerned authorities. As an organization we also strive to cater for your social needs as a student at the University of Malta by also offering a number of social activities varying from debates and seminars to cultural events, social gatherings and exhibitions, where ideas come together and where students meet and socialize. Above all, we struggle to make your student life on campus a memorable experience. So get involved, get active! Why is USTA important for YOU?Â
